International Web Association is the leading organisation providing educational and certification services for Web professionals in 106 different countries. It supports more than 300 000 members all over the world and provides services to individuals and businesses. International Web Association is a non-profit organisation, established in 1996. The association is open for anyone interested in contributing to development of Web professionals around the globe.
International Web Asociacion‘s logo design was a very exciting project. As the organization is open and offers its services to anyone who is willing to contribute, it created a contest for their logo design which was open to anyone as well. This logo design was select between 1200 other designs as the winning concept.
The dominating colour scheme in the logotype is blue with all its shades, representing leadership. Round layout of the logo was chosen to compliment the main element – globe, which represents internationality and openness of the organization. Sharp edged typographic elements add dynamics to the logo concept and connects all logotype elements into the whole.
